The Memories in the Making® event committee of Pikes Peak is honored to virtually celebrate the stunning artwork of 2020!

Memories in the Making (MIM) is an art program coordinated by the Alzheimer's Association for those suffering with dementia.

For those with Alzheimer’s, the world has grown confusing, overwhelming, and perhaps even frightening.  The MIM art program brings comfort, joy  and a sense of purpose through the process of creating watercolors.

Even after people with dementia have lost the ability to use words, they are often able to express thoughts and emotions and to share memories through painting with watercolors.
